Errata

In "World Health Organization Systematic Review of Screening Tests for Preeclampsia" by A. Conde-Agudelo et al (Obstet Gynecol 2004;104:1367–91), the following acknowledgement was omitted: "The authors thank Dr. Lucas Bachmann, Dr. James Roberts, and Dr. Metin Gülmezoglu for their assistance with the figures, methodology, and protocol."

In the report, "Endometrial Effects of Bazedoxifene Acetate, a Novel Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator, in Postmenopausal Women" by S. Ronkin et al (Obstet Gynecol 2005;105:1397–1404), a treatment group name was misstated in the second column, second full paragraph from the top of page 1398. The treatment group name, "0.625 mg conjugated estrogens/2.5 mg medroxyprogesterone acetate," is correctly stated in the preceding paragraph on page 1398, in Figure 1 on page 1399, and in the text and data tables throughout the remainder of the report.

In "Prospective Data Collection of a New Procedure by a Specialty Society: The FIBROID Registry" (Obstet Gynecol 2005;106:44–51) and "The Fibroid Registry for Outcomes Data (FIBROID) for Uterine Embolization: Short-Term Outcomes" (Obstet Gynecol 2005 106:52–59), three name were omitted from the appendices: Joseph Gemmete, MD, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI; Hyun Kim, MD, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD; and David Siegel, MD, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, NY. Three names also contained spelling errors: David Hovsepian, MD, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, St. Louis, MO; Karen Ehrman, MD, Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN; and Richard Shlansky-Goldberg, MD, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.

In "Poor Correlation Between Genital Lesions and Detection of Herpes Simplex Virus in Women in Labor" by C. Gardella et al (Obstet Gynecol 2005;106:106:268–74), the addition of a comma changed the meaning of the fifth sentence in the introduction. The sentence reads as if 50% of all cases of neonatal herpes result in death, which is not true. Fifty percent of cases with disseminated herpes result in death. The sentence should read: "Neonatal herpes affects as many as 1 per 3,200 live births,4 causing death in 50% of cases with disseminated disease and neurologic damage in up to 70% of survivors of CNS disease, even with antiviral therapy.5"

In "The Metabolic Effects of Pregnancy in Cystic Fibrosis" by D. S. Hardin et al (Obstet Gynecol 2005; 106:367–75), there is a typographical error in Table 1. Pregnant cystic fibrosis subjects had a prepregnancy weight of 52.8 ± 4.5 kilograms and prepregnancy body mass index (BMI) of 20.5 ± 2.3. The second trimester weight of these women was 55.9 ± 6.1 kg and second trimester BMI 22.1 ± 2.1. Their heights did not change.
