Emphysematous Pyelonephritis in a Patient with Diabetes Mellitus and Total Pelvic Exenteration

Abstract

A case of emphysematous pyelonephritis in a woman with diabetes mellitus who previously underwent total pelvic exenteration is presented. The emergency nature of this syndrome and its therapy are discussed.
