M. L. Tancer, MD, M. M. U. Mooppan, MD, C. Pierre-Louis, MD, H. Kim, MD and N. Ravski, MD

From the Departments of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Urology, the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, and the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.

The surgical technique of partial ablation was used to treat 34 patients with a symptomatic suburethral diverticulum. Results were excellent: Symptoms disappeared and the complications of urinary fistula and stress incontinence did not occur. There were no recurrences.
