Thrombin Clottable Determination of Plasma Fibrinogen in Pregnancy

ROBERT D. OLIVER, MD, BILLIE B. PATTERSON, BS and JERRY L. PULS, MD

Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pathology at St. John's Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A calculated slope by trimester reveals a more rapid elevation during the first trimester. A thrombin clottable method that is rapid and accurate is evaluated.
