Pregnancy After Removal of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

From the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkom University, Bangkok, Thailand.

A case of pregnancy complicated by an abdominal aortic aneurysm was treated by abdominal hysterotomy and resection of the aneurysm. The patient had a subsequent pregnancy without complication. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of pregnancy following abdominal aortic aneurysmectomy.
