AN ULTRASOUND ASPIRATION TRANSDUCER FOR DIAGNOSTIC AMNIOCENTESES

The many benefits of ultrasonography in the management of pregnancy are briefly reviewed. The use of a B-mode ultrasound aspiration transducer in the performance of diagnostic amniocentesis is described. This new tool was of considerable assistance in the management of 3 patients.
