Folic Acid and Dilantin Antagonism in Pregnancy

Abstract

Increased seizure activity following folic acid supplementation for pregnancy was observed in 2 epileptic gravidas whose seizures were previously well controlled by Dilantin® therapy. In this report the antagonism between folic acid and Dilantin is discussed.
