From the School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles, California.
An intensive training program in Family Planning was presented to small groups of physicians during a 6-month period. The goal was to provide new professional skills which would be used in delivering birth control services throughout the country. A continuing evaluation mechanism was incorporated in the program. From this, certain conclusions have been drawn which may have a generic value in the formulation of all postgraduate physician training courses.
