UTERINE RUPTURE FOLLOWING ATTEMPTED SALINE ABORTION WITH OXYTOCIN IN A GRANDMULTIPAROUS PATIENT

A case of uterine rupture is described in a grandmultiparous patient undergoing attempted saline abortion with oxytocin augmentation. The possible cause of the rupture and prevention of similar complications in the future are discussed.
