Fetography was performed in a pregnant woman with hydramnios at the 34th gestational week. Fetographic findings of bending contracture of wrist joints and the characteristic condition of the fingers led to a successful prenatal diagnosis of trisomy E. Karyotype analyses of the cultured amniotic fluid cells and the skin substantiated the diagnosis of chromosome constitution 47,XY, +18. On the basis of these findings, fetography was evaluated in predicting chromosome aberrations of the fetus.
