Anticoagulant Therapy of Patients With Repeated Placental Infarction

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Pathology, Holy Ziekenhuis, Vlaardingen, Holland.

Three patients are described who-suffered from repeated extensive placental infarction leading to intrauterine death or severe dysmaturity. In the subsequent pregnancy these patients were treated with anticoagulants from the beginning of the second trimester until confinement, with remarkably good results.
