Abstract
A case of a papillary adenocarcinoma arising in the endocervix of a 35-year-old Jewish woman who had been on combined contraceptive medication for the preceding 4 years is presented. The histologic features of the cervital adenocarcinoma are compared to the benign adenomatous hyperplasia often encountered in women taking birth control pills. Although a causal relationship between the "pill" and cervical adenocarcinoma cannot be established, vigilance in this area is imperative.
