Abstract
Application of the wing sound, as a uterine measuring device, provided specific anatomic data which were clinically useful in intrauterine device insertions and in monitoring uterine axial dimensions and cervical competence. In addition, the instrument was successfully utilized to collect endometrial specimens. The results of use of the wing sound in 103 endometrial examinations arc presented and discussed.
