Small Bowel Bypass for Complications Related to Pelvic Malignancy

Proper management of intestinal obstruction and fistula, the most hazardous complications of small bowel problems associated with pelvic malignancy, is crucial. The experience with 16 patients with ileo-vaginal fistula managed by small bowel bypass and a mucous fistula and a review of recent literature on intestinal obstruction are presented.
