Abstract
A case of placenta praevia accreta is recorded because of the very unusual uneventful vaginal delivery of a healthy baby through the placenta. The more typical features of the condition are reemphasized, as is the advisability of hysterectomy in the absence of very strong motivation for retaining the uterus
