Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia in Pregnancy

Abstract

Promyclocyttc leukemia complicated pregnancy and labor in a patient with coagulation defects associated with ftbrinogen and factor V deficiencies and low prothrombin levels. She responded to the cliemotherapeutic combination of cytosine arabinoside and 6–thioguanine. At the time of discharge, she was in partial remission and remained so for a period of 7 months.
