Delivery Through Central Rupture of the Perineum

Abstract

Delivery through a central rupture of the perineum is reported in a 23-year-old-patient. There have been less than 100 cases published previously in the medical literature. The etiology, prophylaxis, treatment and sequelae of this rare obstetric injury are discussed.
