Abstract
Gonadoblastomas have been reported to arise in various types of dysgenetic gonads in patients with Turner's syndrome, pure gonadal dysgenesis, mixed gonadal dysgenesis or male hermaphroditism. With rare exception, such patients have been sex-chromatin negative. A gonadoblastoma has never been reported as arising in the gonad of a patient with true hermaphroditism. For this reason, such a case is reported. It is probably relevant that this particular true hermaphrodite was sex-chromatin negative with a 46,XY karyotype.
