Abstract
Pregnancy in a patient with a well-established diagnosis of aplastic anemia is described. Successful delivery by cesarean section and splenectomy, after large amounts of platelet concentrates were administered preoperatively and postoperatively, played an important role in the management of this severely pancytopenic patient.
