Abstract

Hydatidiform mole with coexistent fetus and preeclampsia was diagnosed by the presence of decreased serum placental lactogen levels in association with elevated or normal HCG levels. The association of hydatidiform mole and fetus should be included in the differential diagnosis of patients with preeclampsia during the second trimester.
