Report of Three Patients

DONALD M. ZAROU, MD, YVONNE IMBLEAU, MD and GEORGE S. ZAROU, MD, FACOG

Abstract

Until recently, the diagnosis of molar pregnancy could only be made with certainty with the passage of molar tissue. For 3 patients suspected of having hydatidiform mole the diagnosis was confirmed by transabdominal injection of a contrast medium. The method provides a safe, rapid, and accurate diagnosis for molar pregnancy.
