THE FRANKFORT TECHNIC OF SUPRAPUBIC BLADDER DRAINAGE

A modification of postoperative suprapubic drainage of the bladder by means of a bulbtype retention tube (Foley catheter) is described. This easily executed method provides patient comfort, reduces incidence of urinary tract infection, and hastens recovery following vaginal plastic procedures.
