Monoamniotic Hydrocephalic Twins with Survival

Report of a Case with Cytogenetic Study

STEPHEN L. LARSON, MD, ROBERT B. WILSON, MD, FACOG and JACK L. TITUS, MD, PHD

Abstract

An uncommon set of monoamniotic twins surviving their birth, 1 of whom continues alive and well at 1 year of age, is depicted. Both twins had a normal female karyotype. The authors' review indicates that the salvage of monamniotic twins, in spite of the fetal hazards, has improved during recent years.
