From the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Philadelphia General Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa.

Abstract

The one hundred seventeenth and eighteenth patients so far reported who had intermittent porphyria—one of whom had a sarcoma of the thigh excised—are included in this review of the disorder, particularly as it relates to pregnancy. These 2 women experienced no gestational disaster and no exacerbation of the metabolic disorder during their total of five pregnancies.
