Abstract
The author's 9 years of experience with his jet-type, vacuum-suction method of endometrial irrigation enabled him to compare the readings of 1084 suitable specimens to the results of uterine curettage that immediately followed each irrigation. None of 53 endometrial carcinomas was missed by this diagnostic technic. Unsatisfactory irrigation samples have a small (less than 1%) falsely negative risk.
