Puerperal Diabetes Insipidus and Panhypopituitarism

Report of a Case

Abstract

The course of a patient with diabetes insipidus and panhypopituitarism following shock during parturition is described. A brief review of present day theories regarding the pathogenesis and management of this disorder is presented.
